Louise Davis

Dorothy “Louise” Davis, 72, of Louisville, KY, passed away on July 21, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her family. 

Louise was a strong and faithful woman whose life reflected her unwavering love for Jesus Christ. She prayed often, spoke openly and joyfully about her faith, and shared the love of Jesus with those around her. Her faith was the foundation of her life and the legacy she leaves behind. She deeply loved her children and grandchildren and treasured every moment with her family. She was a devoted mother, a loving grandmother, and a source of strength and wisdom to all who knew her. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Dorothy Stiles; her beloved husband, Ralph Davis; her daughter, Mindy Martin; and her sister, Ruth Dooley. 

She is survived by her sisters, Neva Bast and Donna Lykins; her brother, Jimmy Stiles; her daughters, Kristie Barnes (Joel) and Kathy Harp (Nathan); her son, James Davis (Sabrina); and five grandchildren: Ruby, John, Madison, Kaitlyn, and Tyler. 

In keeping with her wishes, cremation was chosen. 

A private Celebration of Life and graveside service honoring both Louise and Ralph Davis will be held at a later date at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.
