Dorothy A. Weeks

Dorothy A. "Dottie" Weeks, 91, of Louisville, passed away on March 16, 2016. Dottie was born in Louisville on June 18, 1924 to the late Louis and Susan Albro. She was a faithful member of Ralph Avenue Baptist Church where she served on the Finance Committee for many years.

In addition to her parents, Dottie was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Weeks, Jr.; sisters, Edna Noe and Allene Albro and one brother, Tommy Albro. Survivors include her sisters, Betty Poston (John) and Thelma Neal; and nephews, Ron Poston (Pam), Garry L. Poston, Stanley Neal (Carol), and Doug Neal (Donna).

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272). Funeral ceremony will be held Friday at 11:00 am at the funeral home with burial following in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
