Doris Rose (Sebastian) Watts

Doris Rose (Sebastian) Watts, 84, passed away on January 20, 2017, at her home. She was secretary for a construction and oil company for many years and was a member of Greenville United Methodist Church. Doris enjoyed working puzzles and good conversation, was an avid UK basketball fan, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Doris was born on June 17, 1932, in Lancaster, Kentucky, to Coleman and Hallie (Anderson) Sebastian. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Watts; and son-in-law, Bill Hackemack. Doris is survived by her loving children, Becky Hackemack and Jody Watts (Shelley); brothers, Lloyd (Gracie) and Russell (Beulah) Sebastian; sister, Sue Pingleton (Wayne); 4 grandchildren, Aaron (Hope), Austin, Lucas, and Mary; and great-grandchild, Garrett.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). Her service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. with visitation before from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hosparus Southern Indiana (502 Hausfeldt Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150).
