Doris Seng, 77, of Greenville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022. Doris enjoyed cooking and loved to spend time with her family.
She was born on April 19, 1944, in Petange, Luxembourg, to Francois and Adele (Simoncini) Rausch. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Poerio Simoncini and Robert Rausch; and sister, Marie-Louise Rausch.
Doris is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Paul Seng; daughter, Danielle Seng; daughter, Sonya Schroeder; son, Jean-Paul (Jill) Seng; son, David Seng; grandchildren, Haley Schroeder, Braden Schroeder, Kayla Seng, Livy Schroeder, and Ada Seng; brothers, Raymond Rausch and Roger Rausch; and her special nephew, Adriano Cinarelli.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at St. Mary Navilleton Catholic Church with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
The family would like to extend their gratitude for the amazing care they received from all of the nurses, aides, and employees of Adaptive Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Doris' memory can be made to The Adaptive Hospice Foundation (702 North Shore Drive, Suite 201, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
