Doris Jean (Mercer) Joyce, 78, passed away on September 26, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Joyce, Jr. and daughter, Cheri Lee.
Doris is survived by her children, Chris (Connie) Joyce, Jamie Joyce and Jon (Angie) Joyce; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Shirley (Dave) Kamber, David Mercer, Michael (Sandi) Mercer, Donald (Diane) Mercer and Kathy (Mike) King and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 29, 2016, from 11am-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). A celebration of her life will be Friday, September 30, 2016, at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home SW beginning at 12pm.
Donations can be made to Hosparus of Louisville, 315 E. Broadway, Louisville, KY 40202.
Burial will follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens-West, 4400 Memorial Gardens Dr, Louisville, KY 40216.
