Mrs. Doris Jean Drury, age 76 passed away Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Oaklawn Care Center. Doris was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, friend and companion. She retired from Mothers Cookie Company after 26 years. She then became a CNA and worked private duty. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Christine Spears, and brother Robert E. Spears.

Doris is survived by a brother, Donald Spears and sisters, Mildred Dye(Jim), and Mary Ann Nevitt (Junius),children Brian D. Morgan (Betty), Brenda Gonzalez (Willie) and Teresa "Terri" Tackett (Jimmy), 5 grandchildren; Kenneth and Jeffrey Barber, Christine & Daniel Morgan, and Nikki Tackett plus 7 great grandchildren, McKenna, Brittany, Caitlyn & Daniel Barber, Brianna Lewis and Hunter & Logan Bronke. She is also survived by her loving companion Conrad Weisner of St. Petersburg, FL.

Funeral ceremony will be 11:00 am Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Dr., where visitation will be Friday from 1PM-8PM and after 9:30 am Saturday. Burial is to be private.
