Doris "Jean" Castle, 93, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019.
She was born on July 22, 1926 in Campbellsville, Kentucky to Wallace and Pauline (Sanders) Bardin. Jean was a 70+ year resident of Valley Station. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert "Bob" Walter Castle, brother, Louis Bardin, sister, Barbara Cosby, sister, Estel Walsh Snapp.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Linda Martin Henderson, daughter, Bonnie S. (Gene) Horlander, daughter, Carol Castle English, 7 grandchildren, Robin (Dan) Root, Christine (James) Dillard, Michael Niemann, Shane Thomas, Cameron English, Devin (Barbie) English, Chandler (Gwen) English, 5 great grandchildren, Joel Gonzalez, Msanii Burks, Amani Burks, Akazia English, Jaden Martinez.
Visitation will be Friday August 30, 2019 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 12 pm at Bethany United Methodist Church, (6100 Moorman Rd). Burial will be at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
The family requests that contributions be made to Bethany United Methodist Church.
