Doris C. Dent, age 81, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Magdalene Braden Curtis; and brother, Austin Curtis.
Mrs. Dent is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Eugene; children, Paula J. Blankenship (David), Gary C. Dent (Kim), Steve Dent (Brenda) and Sandra L. Hazlett (Bob); grandchildren, Beth Blankenship, Erin Sisson, Cory Dent, Stephanie Burke, Austen Cross and Lee Hazlett; great-grandchildren, Jonathon Sisson, Destiny Dent and Mikayla Sisson; siblings, Fay Kay, Van Curtis, Larry Curtis and Rada Gibson; and a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of Mrs. Dent's life will be 7pm Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with visitation from 4-7pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hosparus.
