Doris Loretta Bax

Doris Loretta Bax, age 93 of Louisville, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late John and Loretta Braun Birk. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Bax, Jr.; her son, William Bax, III; her siblings, John Birk, Kenny Birk, Donny Birk and Carol Gerlach.

Doris is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Robert Siegel; granddaughter, Angela Tomes (Aaron); great-grandchildren, Ethan Tomes, Renee Tomes, Dalton Tomes and Caleb Tomes; daughter-in-law, Monica Bax; sister, Pat Mitchell; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 9:30am to 11:30am on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with a celebration of Doris' life at 11:30am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
