Dorcas Kemp-Fluhr, age 52 of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017. She was a graduate of Central High School where she was a cheerleader. Dorcas participated in the Special Olympics Swim Team, loved to paint, loved music and loved to watch and play Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. In addition, she loved praise and Worship, arts and crafts, really loved meatloaf, cheese burgers and pizza. Dorcas was a baptized member of Lyndon Baptist Church and attended the Mattingly Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Rowena Fluhr.
Dorcas is survived by her loving family of friends, Missy Hepp, Lori Russell, David Schweinhart and Cindy Hawkins.
Visitation will be 10am-12pm Friday, January 6, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with a celebration of Dorcas life at 12pm. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Dorcas had a smile that could "light up" any room. She was such an important part of so many lives that words cannot express here.
