Doraetha "Dorie" Roberts

Doraetha "Dorie" Roberts, 83, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021. She was born on December 19, 1937 in Martin County, Indiana to the late Luther and Amanda Hoffman. She was a member of Cloverleaf Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Dorie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Howard Roberts; 2 brothers, Al and Richard Hoffman and a step-son, Donald Wayne Roberts.

Left to cherish her memory are her step-children, Howard (Nancy) Roberts and Deborah Roberts; grandchildren, Kathy (Rick) Borders, Heather Roberts, Caressa Bohanon, Howard Thomas (Heather Plummer) Roberts, Jr., Misty Roberts and Donald (Megan) Roberts, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Brittany Lindsey-Borders, Erica Offutt, Alexis Bischoff, Tori Adcock, Tyler Adcock, Trey Leachman, Mikie (Seattle) Gunter, Leon Keith, Tiana Payne, Amarah Champion, Camden Roberts, and Colt Roberts; great-great grandchildren, Elly Mae Sheeley, Hadlee Gunter, Alora Leachman and one on the way, Emberly Amelia; siblings, Margaret McGiveney and Karl (Becky) Hoffman; a sister-in-law, Barbara Hoffman; and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family members who all loved her dearly.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
