Dora Pauline Sawyer

Dora Pauline Sawyer, 85, of Louisville, was called Home to be with her Heavenly Father, on November 30, 2016, surrounded by her family and friends. She was a faithful member of New Covenant Church of God. She was dedicated to her church family and was a strong prayer warrior. Pauline was a devoted, loving wife and mother who loved her family deeply.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Sawyer, Jr.; daughter, Barbara Berry; parents, William and Veder Wilson; sisters, Marjorie Renfro and Frances Lamb and two infant brothers.

Pauline is survived by her children; Vicki Holzknecht, Danny (Sonja) Sawyer, Debra Kelly, Rita (Greg) Trowbridge and Ann (Frank) Bayens; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Crain and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, December 5, 2016, beginning at 2pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). A celebration of Pauline's life will be Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at 11am at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel.

Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, 1600 Newburg Road, Louisville, KY .
