Dora J Epley

Jean Epley 91, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, August 27, 2018. She was retired from G.E. She was the singing karaoke queen of Louisville. She will be greatly missed by all.

She was born on July 28, 1927 to Julian and Lula Hayes.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 24 years, Kenneth M. Epley, Parents Julian and Lula Hayes, Daughter, Diana Jean Simpson, Brothers, Thomas Hayes, Shelby Hayes, Jockey Hayes, Sisters, Lee Bruner, Cindy Hayes, and her grandson, Dale Eugene Bowen Jr.

Jean is survived by her loving Daughters, Sheila Epley, Teresa Epley, Sons, Kenneth Wade (Patricia) Epley, Michael Dennis (Janice) Epley, Son-In-law, Robert Simpson, her 9 grandchildren, her 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild and many other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive). Her Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Cemetery (4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218)
