Donnie Joshua Ray Sanders

Donnie Joshua Ray Sanders, 24, joined his mother in Heaven on April 17, 2022. He was artistic, creative, outgoing and his smile and laugh could light up the room. Donnie enjoyed fishing, listening to music and hanging out with his family and friends. Spending time with Lilly and AJ always highlighted his day and put a spark in his heart. Donnie will be truly missed and will forever live in our hearts.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Tammy Watkins Bynum.

Donnie is survived by his father, Donald (Susan) Sanders; sisters, Donna (Austin Fowler) Sanders, Tessa Ray and Shyanna Lowe; brother, Shawn Bynum, Lucas Sanders and Michael Sanders; fiancé, Rebecca Hornback; niece, Lilliona Fowler; nephews, Austin Fowler, Jr., Remington Bynum and Phoenix Seibert; aunt, Samantha (Mark) Weyrauch; uncle, Donny (Casey) Bynum; grandmother, Betty Bynum and numerous cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 12pm-8pm and Thursday, April 28, 2022, from 10am-8pm. A celebration of Donnie's life will be Friday, April 29, 2022, at the funeral home beginning at 12pm.
