Donna Marie Bisch Scott, 81, of Floyds Knobs, IN passed away in Sellersburg, IN on February 13, 2026 after a rapid progression of dementia.
Donna was born in Chicago, IL on May 31, 1944 to Earl and Virgie (Haynes) Bisch. She was a proud member of the first graduating class of Pleasure Ridge Park High School in 1962, then went on to graduate from Western Kentucky College in 1966.
Donna married Charles Ellis Scott, Jr. in April, 1967, and together they had 3 children, John, David and Kathryn. She worked briefly as a home economics teacher for the Jefferson County KY school system before retiring to be a full-time mother and homemaker. She enjoyed making clothes and costumes for her children and grandchildren, making friends in her bowling leagues, and working crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Donna is survived by her son John Scott, her daughter Kathy Rein (Michael), granddaughters Abby and Lilly Scott, nephew Michael Bisch and niece Jessica Bisch-Pollard (Stephen) and many extended family members. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles, her son David Alan Scott, her parents Virgie and Earl Bisch, and her brothers Tom Bisch, Lawrence Bisch and Richard Bisch.
Memorial services will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany 47150). She will be laid to rest privately at Calvary Cemetery in Louisville.
Memorial donations may be made in Donna’s name to the Dementia Society of America.
