Donna Russell

Donna Russell , 66, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019. She was born on September 13, 1953 in Louisville, to the late Elmer and Lois Theiler. She was a member of VFW Post 1181 and St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. Donna enjoyed playing BINGO. She was a devoted wife and loving Mother and Grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her brother, Gary Theiler.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 49 years, Dale Edward Russell, Sr.; children, Chris (Jennifer) Russell, Dale (Patricia) Russell, Jr., Lori (Patrick) Carstens, Tony Russell; grandchildren, Michael Carstens, Ashley Russell, David Carstens, Jared Russell, Perry Russell, Kayla Russell, Derik Russell; siblings, Sharon Stevens, Phyllis Howard, Steve Theiler and Denise Howard; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Donna's life will take place at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 2, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions- Southwest Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, with private burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central to follow at a later date. The family will accept guests for visitation prior to the service from 11:00 am-2:00 pm.
