Donna Louise Nichols

Donna Louise Nichols, a beloved daughter, sister, wife, and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2026. Born on January 28, 1955, in Louisville, Kentucky, Donna's life spanned over seven decades filled with warmth, love, and dedication to those around her.

A resident of La Grange, KY, Donna was known for her steadfast faith and commitment to her spiritual community. Her memorial service will be held on July 4, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in La Grange, located at 2319 N KY-53. Friends, family, and all who knew her are invited to gather to honor her memory and celebrate the profound impact she made during her lifetime.

Donna’s family was central to her life. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Javier De Luna, who stood by her side through the years with unwavering support and affection. She also leaves behind her siblings: William Nichols, Jr., husband to Margie; Carol Nichols; and Harold Nichols, married to Misty; Niece Catherine Welnicki and her husband Ethan. Along with these close family members, Donna’s memory endures in the hearts of aunts, uncles, and many cousins who were fortunate to share in her warmth and wisdom.

Donna was predeceased by her devoted parents, William Nichols, Sr., and Anna Nichols, whose love laid the foundation for the strong family ties that Donna cherished and nurtured throughout her life.
