Donna Rose Mcaleese

Donna Rose McAleese, 87, of Elizabeth, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020. Donna was very artistic. She was gifted at painting, sketching, and writing poetry. She also enjoyed reading and traveling, but her greatest joy was found in her time fishing.
She was born on January 1, 1933, in Wood Lake, Nebraska, to the late George and Molly (Allen) Hollopeter. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Marjorie Clark and Virginia Polen; and brothers, Alan Hollopeter and John Hollopeter.
Donna is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Herbert McAleese, Sr.; son, Herb McAleese, Jr.; daughter, Jeannette McAleese and her husband, Jason Woodward; and sister, Margaret "Isabelle" Thompson.
Cremation was chosen following Donna's wishes. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
