Have a seat, feel the breeze as the sun kisses your skin, smell the ocean as the water caresses your feet and take in the scenery while you remember Donna.
August 7, 1975 in Louisville Kentucky our goddess was born. She grew up amazing daughter and big sister. At 17 she became an awesome mother. 42 years in she became a Gigi cause she wasn’t old enough to be called granny. Bet you didn’t know she was a college graduate and everyone’s favorite chef. If you ever had her cooking you had a taste of her passion and love. She got down in the kitchen and on the dance floor. However did you know she can play piano? She was a woman of many talents and hobbies. Her favorite place to go was the beach. You could talk sports with her all day everyday but do not disrespect her UofL Cardinals or 49ers. She always stated dressed to the T you’d never catch her out in a bonnet or pj’s. On April 24, 2026 she joined her aunts and uncles and reunited with her grandson Amir.
Survived by her mother Frances Masden, her brother Tony Masden, sisters Tonya Masden and LaTasha Masden, Niece VonTasia Masden, Nephew DeVontae Masden. Her legacy thrives on in her children RaShawn Masden, RaShawna Felton, RaVon Masden, DaWante Masden, DaKayla Fields-Masden. Her heart beats on in her grandchildren Amyrah Felton, JaKayla Masden, Zamontrell Price-Felton, Jahari Masden, Rakiah Nolan-Felton. Her loyalty lies with her sister’s Lavenia Williams, Taysha Smith and her best friend Jonathan House. Leaving Her kindness with so many more.
She’s made a difference in this world that’s put a warmth in your heart to start healing. Every time you see a cardinal just know she’s visiting. Every time you hear the crash of waves know that she’s at peace. In the loving memory of Donna K Masden.
