Donna L. Fessenden

Donna L. (Bridges) Fessenden, 59, passed away on January 8, 2016 at the home of her son.
Born January 20, 1956, she is the daughter of the late Jim and Ruby (Polsgrove) Bridges.
She leaves behind sons, Richard Fessenden (Joshua DuBois), of Louisville and Robert Fessenden, of Frankfort, KY; grandchildren, Matthew Fessenden and Trinity Crawford of Bedford, KY; brothers, Daniel Bridges and Mike Clifford of Louisville; nephews Daniel Bridges (Cassandra, McKenzie & Maizie), Shawn Bridges (Beth, Bailey & Braden) and niece, Stephanie Shelton (Jason & Avery), along with a host of family and friends to cherish her memory.
She worked as a licensed daycare worker for the Valley View Baptist Daycare Center before retiring and devoting all of her time to her children and grandchildren. Donna was a Christian by faith.
Memorial service with Cody Hutchinson officiating will be held at 5:00 pm Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy) with visitation from 2:00 pm until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kosair Children's Hospital at www.kosairchildrenshospital.com. The family would like to thank the staff at U of L Hospital, James Graham Brown Cancer Center, Hosparus and Newcomer Funeral Home for their devoted care and kindness. And to our family and friends for the outpouring of love, thoughts and prayers during Mom's illness and the days to come.
