Donna Denise Krebs, 65, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 10, 2020, surrounded by her family, following a long battle with kidney failure.
Denise was born on February 20, 1955 in Louisville, Kentucky to Joseph and Mary Abell. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Frank Krebs, her Parents, Sisters, Mary Dee Warren, Jodie Pierce, and Betty Amburgy.
Denise formally worked in the housekeeping profession and loved visiting with the residents of the long term care facilities she worked at. Denise was a long time parishioner at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, where she enjoyed volunteering at the fish fry dinners, picnics, and ball games.
Denise will be lovingly and forever remembered by her Daughter, Mary Catherine Kornrumpf (Greg), Granddaughter, Kimberly Grace Kornrumpf, numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Denise will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Resthaven Cemetery. A celebration of her life will take place in the spring as the flowers are blooming and life is renewed.
In remembrance of Denise's life and of the renewed life she received with her kidney transplant, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the American Kidney Fund at kidneyfund.org.
