Donna Marie Bennett, born on the last day of 1955, departed on October 2, 2025, leaving behind a vibrant tapestry of cherished memories and indelible marks upon the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her. Life, for Donna, was an exquisite blend of spontaneity and care, reflected through her sassy yet loving demeanor.
Donna was a member of Beechmont Baptist Church, where she was saved and baptized. A true connoisseur of life’s small pleasures, she found immense joy in planting flowers, nurturing them to bloom in radiant colors, much like the affection she effortlessly shared with her loved ones. Music enriched her world, morphing mundane moments into cherished memories, while sun-kissed days at the beach, particularly in the enchanting realms of the Caribbean, were a source of delight that she savored wholeheartedly.
Donna's love extended beyond her familial circle—her heart was expansive, welcoming the innocence and joy that her grandson, Timmy, brought into her life. Her nurturing spirit shone brightest in these moments, a testament to her proudest accomplishments, including her daughter, Angela.
In the company of her beloved animals, Sandra and Farfel, Donna discovered companionship and solace. These endearing moments served to enrich her spirit and amplify her loving personality that endeared her to many.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Freda Pauline Crowder; brother, Dennis Crowder; daughter, Alicia Marie Lindsey and her nephew, Scott Crowder.
She is survived by husband, George Lindsey; her loving daughter, Angela (Tim Lyons) Olson; grandson, Timmy Lyons; her dear friend, Kim and her fur baby, Sandra.
Family and friends are invited to gather in her honor at Newcomer Funeral Home in Southwest Louisville, Kentucky. A memorial gathering will commence at 12pm to 3pm on October 11, 2025, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM, where her remarkable legacy will be celebrated.
