Donald Waltman

Donald L. Waltman, 45, of New Albany passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2011. Donnie was a 17-year veteran of the U.S. National Guard and an employee of E.A. Games.

Donnie was born on October 13, 1965 in New Albany. He was the son of Loren H. and Delta Faye (Booker) Waltman. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 19 years, Katie M. (Daugherty) Waltman; children, Amanda and Wyatt Waltman; brothers, Scott Nelson (Suzanne), Daniel Waltman (Angel), and Larry Waltman (Angie); and sisters, Melanie Grimm (Al), Pamela Riehle (Larry), and Nicole Boone (Jon).

His visitation will be from 12 to 8 PM on Sunday, September 25, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 11 AM Monday in the Paul F. Kraft, Sr. Memorial Chapel at the funeral home with burial and military honors to follow at Lanesville Protestant Cemetery in Lanesville, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to Katie Waltman for a memorial fund for his children, Amanda and Wyatt.
