Donald Smith, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020.
Don was born on July 22, 1940 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Rollie and Ollie Smith. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Ann Smith; daughters, Julie Turner, and Katherine Peterson; sons, David Smith, Dave Peterson, Greg Turner and Frankie Lu; grandsons, Justin Peterson and Kyle Turner; great granddaughter, Shiloh Peterson; sisters, Jean Bowen and Janet Schiesler; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Don was a member of the Masonic Order for 57 years and he proudly served his country in the Air Force.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Don's memory to Hosparus of Louisville.
Visitation will be on Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 9 to 10:30 am at Northeast Christian Church (9900 Brownsboro Rd). A Christian service will immediately follow at 10:30 am. A private family burial will follow services.
