Donald Leroy Shultz

Donald Leroy Shultz, age 78 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021 at his home under Hospice care. He was born January 20, 1943 to the late Norman Lee and Alice Irene Slater Shultz. Don retired from Kroger after 42 years of service. He was a faithful member of Southeast Christian Church and a huge supporter of the Franklin Graham Ministries Samaritan's Purse.

Don is survived by his loving wife, Sharon; his children, Donald L. Shultz, Jr. (Terri) and Michelle Shultz Smail (Glen); step-daughter, Marcy Downing Kelley (Scott); grandchildren, Patricia Shultz Tinnell, Katelyn Shultz Evans (Adam), Hailey Galbreath, Abi Galbreath, Preston Downing (Michaela), Landen Kelley and Brayden Kelley; sister, Marilyn Angel; brother, John Shultz (Judy); numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8pm on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY. 40243 and also at Chapel in the Woods, 1401 Moser Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40299 from 10 to 11am on Wednesday, May 12th. A celebration of Don's life will be at 11am at Chapel in the Woods, with burial to follow in Floydsburg Cemetery, Crestwood, Kentucky.
