Donald Ray "Smiley" Heflin, 66, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on March 22, 2016. He retired from Jeff Boat.
Donald was born on May 28, 1949, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Oscar Heflin and Flossy (Davis) Evans. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Gale, Kenny, and Wayne Heflin.
Donald is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lois Heflin; children, Billy (Jamie) Heflin, Kelly Heflin, Kristie Heflin, Jennifer Logsdon, and Jason Heflin; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Gloria (Mickey) Burnett, Trica (Eddie) Hall, and Lisa Heflin; brother, Phillip (Linda) Heflin; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm Monday, March 28, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). His Funeral Ceremony will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park (4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville).
Memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
