Donald R. Ragland, 61, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at his home.
He was born in Florence, Alabama on June 25, 1956 to the late Homer James Crittenden and Parthenia Ragland.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Hilda Joyce Roberson and brother, Larry Ragland.
Donald is survived by his twin sister Bonnie F. Ragland; sisters, Ruby J. Ragland and Elizabeth C. Ragland; brother Curtis A. (Mary Ann) Ragland; sister-in-law, Denise M Ragland and his best friend Kenny Morris as well as a host of other extended family members and friends all of whom will cherish his memory.
There will be a funeral service at held on Thursday, August, 10, 2017 at 12:00 noon Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky, 40272, burial will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central at 2:00 pm.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
