Donald R. Carr, age 70 of Louisville, passed away Monday, August 12, 2013. He was a member of Westport Road Baptist Church and an Army veteran, was a Kentucky Colonel, a member of the Louisville Executive Club and the Louisville AG Club.
Don is survived by his wife of 48 years, Joan; daughters, Laura Carr Coleman (LTC Chris Coleman, US Army) and Mary Carr Knipp (Terry); grandchildren, Matthew and Jason Coleman, and Lauren and Grant Knipp; and also a host of family and friends.
Funeral ceremony will be 3pm Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive. Visitation will be noon until time of service on Saturday. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or choice of charity.
