Donald "Butch" Montgomery, 58, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on January 10, 2017. He worked for the Boy Scouts of America and was a former Mediator for the Jefferson County Courts.
Don "Butch" was born on July 4, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky to Marion and Phyllis (Davenport) Montgomery. He was preceded in death by his mother Phyllis Montgomery.
Don "Butch" is survived by his wife of 20 years, Cynthia Lynn (Tobin) Montgomery, father Cleve Montgomery children; Jillian Wilson and Elizabeth Nahm, 5 grandchildren (Ryleigh. Aubree, Andrew, Jackson and Alyssa), sisters Kim (Mike) Vann, Rachelle Montgomery, Amanda Montgomery, brothers Jeff (Gina) Montgomery and Russell Montgomery. He also had numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunt, uncles and friends.
A gathering celebrating his life and memories will be held from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).
