Donald Arthur Marsh

January 26, 1953 — March 9, 2019

Donald Arthur "Don" Marsh, 66, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019. Don was a veteran of the United States Army in which he was a member of the 82nd Airborne Artillery. He loved to sing and fish and loved his dogs, Buster Brown, Smoky, Mr. Spock, and Jack. Don was a man with a great sense of humor and a wonderful man of faith in God's Word.

He was born on January 26, 1953, in Evanston, Wyoming. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Rose Bast; stepfather, Charles R. Bast; and siblings, John Thomas, Charlotte Smith, and Sherry Hall.

Donald is survived by his son, Shane (Krysta) Marsh; siblings, Sierra Thacker, Arienne Owens, Francis Marsh, and James Shipt; granddaughters, Joclyn Ramsey and Ariel Marsh; and several extended family members.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, with cremation to follow.

The family requests that contributions in Don's memory be made to the Voice of God Recordings (5911 Charlestown Pike, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
