Donald David "Don" Keithley, 90, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Born on October 19, 1934, to James A. and Ola (Scott) Keithley, Don lived a life marked by dedication, hard work, and a deep love for his family and community.
A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Don served his country with honor. Following his military service, he embarked on a career path that showcased his skills and passions. He worked for many years at Bell South, then moving to Contel, before venturing out to establish his own business, Miniature Saw Works. Beyond his professional achievements, Don was an avid gardener, spending countless hours nurturing his yard and enjoying the beauty of nature. He had a keen eye for opportunity, often found wheeling and dealing in real estate and vehicles long before it became a trend.
Don had a strong commitment to faith and fellowship, having been a member of Greenville Christian Church before later attending Northside Christian Church. A devout Christian, Don cherished the time he spent worshipping with his family and friends, forging relationships that enriched his life and the lives of those he touched.
