Donald Johnson
September 27, 1937 — June 24, 2015
Donald Johnson, age 77 of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015. He was a self-employed wrecker driver and also an Army Veteran. He was proud to be a Kentucky Colonel. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Price and Goldie Whitaker Johnson; daughter, Debbie Johnson; brothers, Joseph "JT" Johnson and Paul Samuel Johnson.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his loving wife and companion, Marie; children, Janice Johnson Canaday and Craig Johnson (Heather); step-daughter, Kim Smiley (Bruce); grandson, Cody Johnson (Josh); sisters, Aileen Vaught, Laverne Coats and Nancy Stoess; several nieces and nephews; his beloved "puppy" Ricki; and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral ceremony will be 11am Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial in the Bedford Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8pm on Monday, June 29th at the funeral home.
