Donald Lee "Don" Gray, 81, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on July 21, 2017. He enjoyed traveling in his motor home, fishing, playing Bingo, and loved watching NASCAR.
Don was born on September 4, 1935 in Ramsey, Indiana to the late William H., Sr. and Gertrude (Berkenemeyer) Gray. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his children, Dale Gray, Sue Lynch, and Charles Grider; siblings, Delores Belcher, Gene Gray, and William H. Gray, Jr.
Don is survived by his loving wife, Merle L. (James) Gray; children, Michelle Bickel, Patricia Umensetter (Tommy), Constance Roberts, John Gray, and Jimmy Sparrow; and 7 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10AM-1PM Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln. New Albany, IN 47150). His Funeral Service will be held at 1PM in the chapel of the funeral home with burial and military honors to follow at Forest Grove Cemetery.
