Donald Louis Graf, 88, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019. Donald was a proud U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War who was known as a hardworking man who loved farming, gardening, being a 4-H volunteer, and a Silver Creek Dragons Basketball Fan. Out of all the things he loved in life, his ever-growing family was his favorite.
He was born on August 23, 1931, in Clark County, Indiana, to the late Charles E. and Benitha C. (Eckert) Graf. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, David Graf; and brother, Charles J. Graf.
Donald is survived by his loving wife, Helen (Pixley) Graf; children, Paul (Diane) Graf, Dale Graf, Kenneth (Jamie) Graf, Gary (Gina) Graf, and Karen (David) Graves; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 22, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday at St. John Paul II Catholic Church-St. Paul Campus in Sellersburg, Indiana, with burial to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery.
The family requests that contributions in Donald's memory be made to the American Legion 204 or St. John Paul the II Catholic Church.
