Donald Earl Spencer, 93, of New Albany, Indiana was called home on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. He was born on November 17, 1921 in Joliet, Illinois to Ira and Sarah (Hamilton) Spencer. Donald was a civil engineer and worked for the state of Indiana. He was a member of New Beginnings Community Church. Donald was a hardworker and enjoyed spending time at their cottage in Wisconsin.
Donald is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Betty (McGee) Spencer; children, Tom Spencer (Ann), Carol Huston (Murphy), James Spencer (Jane), Suzanne Corrao (Pete); 11 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
