Donald E. McDonald, age 79, of Louisville, returned to his heavenly Father on Friday, July 3, 2015. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the CBOA, CHRA and the Limestone Bay Boat Club. He was a Navy Veteran serving in the Reserves. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Ray and Evelyn L. Carlisle McDonald; his first wife, Janice Webb McDonald; and siblings, William R. McDonald, Jr. and Richard McDonald.
Don is survived by his loving sons, Kenneth (Kathy) and Kevin; grandchildren, Megan, Kevin L. and Cody McDonald; his loving companion, Cindy Moore; sister-in-law, Sue McDonald; and a host of relatives and friends.
Services will be private.
The family would like to especially thank the staff of University Hospital, 8th floor I.C.U., for their outstanding and loving care.
