Donald Edward "Don" Leonard, 65, of Marysville, IN, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at his home. He loved gardening and was a very talented baker. Don was a member of the men's auxiliary at the VFW Post 1427 in Charlestown.
He was born on November 10, 1950 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late Harry & Clara (Williamson) Leonard. Don was also preceded in death by his brothers, Larry & Michael Leonard.
Don is survived by his wife of nearly 33 years, Jean Leonard; son, James Leonard (Jennifer); brothers, Harry Leonard (Joyce), Anthony Leonard (Estella), and David Leonard (Jody); sisters, Arnell Cherry (Garland) & Donna Carpenter (Jackie); grandchildren, Heaven & Zachary.
Visitation will be from 3 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Cremation will follow and interment will take place at Walnut Ridge Cemetery at a later date.
