Donald Davis Fisher

Donald Davis Fisher, 82, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at his home with his family by his side. He was a retired truck driver for A&H Trucking, a member of Teamsters Local 89, and a member of Ohio Falls UMC. Don was a member of the Clarksville Redevelopment Commission for 20 years. He was a member of the Clark Masonic Lodge #40 where he received his 50 year pin, the Redman Club in New Albany, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the American Legion.

Don was born on May 4, 1932 in Plainville, Indiana to the late William "Ivan" and Mercedes (Davis) Fisher. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Bobbi Jo Reck. Don is survived by his wife of 63 years, Barbara Eileen (Miller) Fisher; children, Anita Buckingham (Phillip), Cathy McAndrew (Mike), Doug Fisher (Jeanne), Mike Fisher (Michelle); 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 PM to 8 PM on Monday, December 29, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane New Albany, Indiana 47150) and on Tuesday after 10 AM. His Funeral Service is at 1 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
