Donald B. Baumgardner

Donald B. Baumgardner, 79, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020. Donald loved old cars, country music, and he never met a stranger. He loved going to church and he was a faithful believer in the Lord. Donald always thought about other people and he would give the shirt off of his back. He loved his cats Molly and Skittles. Donald had a lot of friends and he would meet them on Wednesday night at Mr. Gattis to eat, talk about old cars, and all the good times they have had. He loved taking car cruises every weekend in the summer as well as out of town cruises. He has a lot of friends that have the same passion for old cars as he does.

He was born on August 2, 1941 in Lebanon Jct., Kentucky to Virgil and Ola (Gray) Baumgardner. He is preceded in death by his father, Virgil Baumgardner and mother, Ola Baumgardner.

Donald is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Gail Lee; special friends, Byron (Lisa) Clayton and Lavenia Sadler. as well as a host of friends to cherish his loving memory.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
