Dolly "Ruth" (Robinson) Harrison, 92, of Greenville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2019. Ruth was a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, knitting, gardening, and being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was born on August 8, 1926 in Galena, Indiana to the late John and Mattie (Masters) Robinson. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Gene Harrison; siblings, Mary Belle Conrad, Herbert Robinson, Wilbur Robinson, and Albert Robinson.
Ruth is survived by her son, Rodney Gene Harrison; 3 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11AM to 2PM on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:45 pm on Saturday, at Byrneville Cemetery in Byrneville, Indiana with burial to follow.
The family requests that contributions in Ruth's memory be made to the American Cancer Society.
