Dolly Laurel "Dottie" Landwerth, age 83 of Pewee Valley, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 1, 2015. Born in Hardin, Ky., she resided in PeWee Valley for 51 years. She was retired from Enro Shirt Factory where she worked for 37 years. She was a lifelong lover of children and cats. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 5 sisters.
Dottie is survived by her children, Steve Landwerth (Marsha), Kenny Landwerth (Phyllis), Carla Landwerth (Jimmy), and Deana Eckel (Ted); 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and her sister, Katie Lyons.
A visitation to celebrate Dolly's life will be 12 - 3pm Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Dolly's favorite charity, the Crusade for Children.
