Dianne (Luther) Decker

Dianne "Jeannie" (Luther) Decker, 74, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021.

She was born on July 19, 1946, in Elizabeth, Indiana, to the late Willard and Mary (Langenberg) Luther. In addition to her parents, Jeannie was preceded in death by her sons, David and Thomas Scott; sisters, Pat Roby, Betty Coffee, Linda Jones, and Pam Pierce; and brothers, Arthur and Robert Luther.

Jeannie is survived by her husband of 38 years, Raymond Decker; daughters, Dawn Blankenship and Mary Vires (Mike); sisters, Brenda Wise, Wanda Scott (Bob), and Shirley Young (Folis); brother, Orlin Luther (Mary); grandchildren, Brandon (Lindsey), Adam (Sarai), and Steven Scott, Jeremy Gray (Allyson), Sierra Smith, Mikaela and Zachary Blankinship, and Mackenzie, Asa, Tyler, and Austin Scott; and great-grandchildren, Lily Scott, Ethan Gray, Kayden Yates, and Nathan Gray.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Wednesday after 9:00 a.m. Her funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday in the chapel at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to Jeannie's wishes.
