Dianna Lynn Rhodes

Dianna Lynn Rhodes, 66, of Louisville, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on June 28, 2024. She was born on May 26, 1958 to David F. Rhodes, Jr. and Jean Elizabeth Rhodes. 

As a child, her and her sister, Denise, grew up in Fayetteville and were very close in age. They enjoyed many of the same things, like reading and playing chess. She was a 1976 graduate of 71st High School and before leaving Fayetteville in 2004, was employed by Public Works Commission. Dianna had a very kind heart and saw the good in everyone. She never met a stranger and always tried to do the right thing. Although she moved out of state, her and her sister maintained a close relationship despite the distance.

Although she left this life too soon, we know that she is in the arms of her Lord and Savior. She leaves behind two brothers, David H. Rhodes of Boiling Springs, SC and Larry D. Rhodes of Centre, AL; a sister, Denise D. Rhodes of Fayetteville; 3 nephews, and one niece, along with many great friends throughout her life. All who knew her will miss her sweet smile and her positivity.

There will be a celebration of life service at Salem Methodist Church on a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions in Dianna's honor be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, which claimed the life of her mother.
