Diane Marie Kotarski, 74, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021.
She was born on February 11, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Michael and Eleanor (Sency) Bushi. Diane graduated from Lincoln High School in Cleveland, OH. She was a Kentucky Colonel and former City Clerk of Lyndon. She was a receptionist at Mercer for many years until her retirement in 2020. Diane dedicated her life to ministry and serving others. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Diane is survived by her son, Ray (Debbie) Kotarski, daughter; Dawn (Travis) Pennington; son, Joel (Renae) Kotarski; 8 grandchildren, Austin Kotarski, Leah Kotarski, Ashley Pennington, Emily Pennington, Andy Pennington, Destiny Bailey, Donald Bailey, Uriel Kotarski; sister, Donna Engel; brother, Dennis (Sue) Bushi.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243
In lieu of flowers, family requests that contributions in Diane's memory be made to Hosparus or Baptist Palliative Care Food Pantry c/o Fern Creek United Methodist Church.
