Diana Sue Butler

Diana Sue Butler, aged 71, of Louisville, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on October 3, 2024. She was a devoted mother, cherished memaw, beloved sister, loving aunt, and a faithful friend to many. Known for her selfless heart, Diana always put others before herself and was a light in the lives of those who knew her. Her BINGO family brought her joy, and she shared laughter and love with everyone fortunate enough to be part of her life.

Born on July 10, 1953, in Louisville, Kentucky, Diana was the daughter of Luke and Mary (Childers) Hibbs. She was preceded in death by her father, Luke Henry Hibbs, Jr., and her mother, Mary Ann Hibbs.

Diana's loving family includes her children, Kristopher L. (Carolyn) Vannatta and Amy D. (Andrew) Vannatta; her grandchildren, Brooke Vannatta, Alex McMahan, Luke Vannatta, Nickolas Vannatta, Michael Vannatta, Kal-El Turner, and one great-granddaughter on the way. She is also survived by her siblings, Debbie Eubric and David Hibbs, her brother, Daniel "Danny" Hibbs, her ex-husband, Kerry (Pat) Vannatta, sister-in-law Tia Vannatta, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends who will hold her memory close in their hearts.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, located at 10304 Dixie Hwy. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at the same location.
