Diana Marie Bogard, 73, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021. Diana was a diehard racing and NASCAR fan. She loved lighthouses, was a member of the Red Hat Society, and had a heart to help others in need.
She was born on August 23, 1947, in Charleston, West Virginia, to the late Arthur and Betty (Harless) McDerment.
Diana is survived by her loving son, Todd (Lori) Whitfield; stepdaughter, Lorra Ritchie; stepson, James (Janelle) Ritchie; sister, Sandra (William) Janes; 8 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 23, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Cremation was chosen following Diana's wishes.
