Dewayne "Buddy" Roggentine, 75, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on November 27, 2017.

He retired from Bank of America and was a member of Eastwood Christian Church. Buddy was a Kentucky Colonel, and served in the Air Force.

He was born on May 20, 1942 in South Amana, Iowa to the late Donald and Wilma Roggentine.

Buddy is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Karee Roggentine; children, April Story (William) and Eric Roggentine; grandchildren, Brittni Story, Emily Story, Chelsea Roggentine, Spencer Roggentine, Autumn Roggentine, Chloe Roggentine, Myah Roggentine; great-granddaughter, Kylie Garr; and sisters, Carole Ann Wallace (Robert) and Deborah Hawkes.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, East Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243). A service to honor the life of Buddy will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Jeffersontown Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.

In loving memory of Buddy, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity of your choice.
