Devin Johnson, 44, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022.
She was born on March 10, 1978 in Louisville, Kentucky to Paul and Glenda (Boston) Johnson.
Devin was affectionately known by her unconditional and unselfish fierce love for her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends for her outspoken nature, her tenacious giving spirit, and her love of University of Louisville sports. As a certified nursing assistant, Devin made it her mission to care for the sick and injured at Jeffersontown Rehabilitation. Devin always surrounded herself with her family, which is where she felt most comfortable and loved.
Devin is survived by her mother, Glenda Rose Thomas (Ken), father, Paul Keith Johnson (Carol), sons, Kris Tre Weathers (Dionna Gasaway), Kane Justice Weathers, Promise Durflinger, brother, Paul Keith Johnson, Jr. (Lisa), sisters Dawn Michelle Baucco (Steve), Apryl Rose Davis (Jim), grandchildren Milan Gasaway and Lyric McGee. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243). In honor of Devin who lived her life in sweatshirts and scrubs, casual dress attire is recommended as she wouldn't want anyone having to wear dress clothes just for her.
