Devera Wilson Huddleston

Devera Wilson Huddleston, age 89 of Louisville, KY, went home to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 5, 2017. She was born April 9, 1927 to Zadie Willoughby Wilson and Chester Wilson of Horse Branch, KY. Devera retired from PNC Bank in Louisville, KY, where she was a bank teller for many years. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Courtland Huddleston and Royce E. Wilson, Sr.; brothers, Lawrence Wilson, Loury Wilson, Lamen Wilson and Lowell Wilson; and her sisters, Ramona Wilson, Devonia Vance and Delphine LeRoy.

Devera is survived by her loving children, Royce Wilson (Emily), Valerie McDonald (Mark) and Shay Daugherty (Scott); nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 10:30am until 12:30pm on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with a celebration of Devera's life at 12:30pm. Entombment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
