Destiny Nevaeh "Quinzel" Newton passed away at home unexpectedly on August 25, 2026. She was born on January 31, 2006, and in her short life she made a vivid and unforgettable impression on those around her.
Destiny was a talented artist whose creativity showed itself in so many parts of her life. She graduated from Penn Foster High School and carried her artistic spirit with her in the things she loved most. She enjoyed drawing and doing make-up, finding beauty in color, expression, and imagination. She also loved her tarot cards, crystals, and stones, embracing the things that felt meaningful and magical to her.
She had a personality that could not be ignored. Loud and proud, Destiny liked being the center of attention and absolutely had no filter. She was always the life of the party, bringing energy, candor, and a spark that made every room feel fuller. She loved Jack Skelton, and her favorite holiday was Halloween, a fitting reflection of her bold style and playful spirit.
Among the deepest joys of her life was her son, Ezekiel NicKole Scott Newton, who stood as her proudest accomplishment. Her love also extended to her beloved fur babies, Key-Low, Luna, Rascal, Zero, Lefty, and Shadow, who were part of the world she cherished so dearly.
She was preceded in death by her granddad, Michael Newhouse; aunts, Gena Jennewein and Tiffianie Fuller; cousin, Bill Bill Barrett and her fur baby, Smokey.
Quinzel left to cherish memories, son, Ezekiel Nickole Scott Newton; sister, Alexus Burch; nephew, Liam Tuell; mother, Judy M. Newton; father, Tony Fletcher; granny's "Susie & Anna" Daniels as well as Penny Baylor; uncles, Marshall "Buggie" & Alicia Newhouse and Derry & Sue Smith; cousins, Savannah Newhouse and Cole Newhouse; aunts, Gayla Cay, Tammy Girl and Sylvia Smith; fur babies, Key-Low, Luna, Rascal, Zero, Lefty, and Shadow; extended family and friends.
